My Favorite Channel: Disney Junior!

I have watched Disney Junior since I can remember. It is still one of my favorite channels. I usually like to watch it on the Big Thing (Kindle Fire HD) because my family watch shows together that I don’t like. Disney Junior always has shows that I like.

The first show I remember liking was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. From the beginning I loved mice like Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Minnie was the first character I loved. She wore pink everywhere and she wore bows to match her clothes! I liked that when I watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse I could answer questions. It made me feel smart and kept me interested in watching.

The next show I remember watching was Little Einsteins. This show was important to me because I liked the song and my brothers kept making the song funny because they would sing it in a funny way that I thought was cool! My favorite person was June. She was a ballerina who wore a purple outfit and pretty ballet shoes. I think she was the first one to buckle in the ship at the start of the show.  I liked this show because they went lots of places and helped people including animals.

Sofia the First was the first show I ever saw from the beginning on Disney Junior. It made me feel like a beautiful princess. I liked that she was young and I think she was six. There are a lot of books about her in my library so I like to read about her. I liked that Sofia talked to the animals on the show. And I really liked her purple amulet necklace. Sofia has changed her necklace and dress as the show went on. Her necklace changes colors when they add new shows.

Nina Needs to Go was a short show in between programs. Nina was a little girl who liked to wait too long to go to the bathroom. Even though her family members would ask her, “Do you need to go to the bathroom, Nina?” she always said, “No, I’m fine.” Then, when it was hard to take Nina to the bathroom she would have to go in an emergency. Her grandmother always got her to the bathroom on time in a fun way. I liked these because they were fun and funny!

Doc McStuffins was the best show because she helped toys. One of her toys would have a problem and her magic stethoscope would make them come to life. She would look at the problem, come up with a diagnosis, and fix the toy. There was a cool song in every show about fixing the toy. This year I want to be Doc McStuffins for Halloween!

The newest show I like to watch on Disney Junior is called Elena of Avalor. It just started this summer. I like it because it is a fun show and she was going to become a queen at 16. Elena’s grandfather tells her that she has learning to do, but she doesn’t listen. She thinks she is ready to rule. I think Elena is wrong and she should listen to her grandfather. I like this show a lot because I love queens and princesses.

Disney Junior has been my favorite channel for my whole life. Even when I get tired of shows there are new shows to watch that interest me. I still love Minnie Mouse but I have added Doc McStuffins and Elena to my favorites as I grow up. I can’t wait for Halloween!

Rosie is the third/last child and only girl in her family. She enjoys training to be a superhero with her brother GS 187, playing Minecraft with her brother ML 187, spending time with her cousins, going to school, being a Girl Scout, a karate student, a swimmer, a baseball player, a traveler, and an all-around great girl. She plays with Barbies, Legos, and always has fun playing cards with her Ga-Ga and board games with her Grandma. Rosie 187 would rather be outside, but when she's inside she can usually be found with "The Big Thing", her mother's Kindle.

Although she was told she wouldn't  have to start a blog until next summer (2017), Rosie 187 insisted on reciting her blog to her mother so her mom could type the words but her ideas could get out.

Rosie 187 hopes you enjoy her blogs and leave her "lots of comments" for her to read, learn, and enjoy.

My Favorite Disney Princess: Pocahontas

When I was about three or four years old my mother showed me Disney's Pocahontas. I loved it from the very first time I saw it. At first it was because I really liked Pocahontas' long hair that blows in the wind, her pretty dress, and that she wears no shoes. I have long hair and I love wearing no shoes.

As I got older I loved Pocahontas even more because she puts her mind to stuff that she can do! Pocahontas is always going outdoors to climb trees. I love watching her do that because I don't know how. I also love how Pocahontas can talk to Grandmother Willow. Grandmother Willow is a willow tree and is very nice to Pocahontas. She tells her to believe in herself and gives Pocahontas great advice. I also love Pocahontas' animal friends. She has a raccoon and a hummingbird. The raccoon is important to me because my Ga-Ga and Pa-Pa have a stuffed animal raccoon I love in their house on Raccoon Island. The hummingbird is cute to me because we have a garden stick with a hummingbird on it in our garden at home.

One of my favorite parts is when Pocahontas' dad gives her her mother's necklace. This was special to me because it was jewelry and I like jewelry. I like jewelry because my mommy does. The necklace is very pretty.

Another thing I like about the movie is the leaves that swirl in the wind. They are so pretty. It reminds me of fall. I love fall because my birthday and my dad's birthday are in the fall. My birthday is on October 14th and my dad's is on Halloween!

My favorite part is when Pocahontas dives from the cliff into the water. I like this the best because I never saw someone dive off a cliff before and I think it might be fun.

Even though I have loved the movie and Pocahontas for many years, I have never had a doll of Pocahontas until now. My mommy bought me a Pocahontas doll at WalMart this week. When my brother GS 187 wrote a blog this week it made me want to write my own one. My doll gave me the idea to write this blog about Pocahontas.

I hope you watch the movie and love it as much as I do.
