Disney High School Musical: The Musical: The Series By: Rosie 187

When you or your kids were younger, like in 2006, did you watch Disney High School Musical? I just started to watch it on Disney+ and I love it so far. When I finished the three movies I found out that there is a series called High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (HSMTMTS).

HSMTMTS is my favorite series because it is a musical, a romance, and it is about teenagers! HSMTMTS is about the new generation of Wild Cats and their Drama Club is performing High School Musical as their musical.

But when they are trying to put the play on the drama kids go through the drama that the drama kids usually go through! I know about this firsthand because when I was in second grade I was an extra with a line in my town high school's production of Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella. I hung out with all of the high school teenagers and witnessed the drama with my own eyes! 

My favorite part of the series is the music because it has a lot of original music and some new music. The new music really gets you moving like “Born to Be Brave” and some of the music is just nice like “Just for a Moment”. My favorite new song is called “Out of the Old”. 

   

If you liked/loved High School Musical you would LOVE this show a lot, too. But if someone asked my which one is better I would say they are just different, it’s really hard for me to make a decision on this. Watch it and decide for yourself. Then, let me know what YOU think!
